So what happens if you say, “No Jesus for me.” I believe what I want to believe. First, you’ll have to PAY for your own sins. There are no exceptions. The bill that is attached to sin is death; there’s no OTHER way to pay for sin. Romans 6:23 says “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Next, you can only cope through your PAIN. Jeremiah 6:14 says, “All they ever offer to my deeply wounded people are empty hopes for peace.” That’s the world. Jesus forgives, but the sin still needs to be paid for, and Christ went to the cross to PAY for YOUR sins – past, present, and future…so that YOU don’t have to.
And BECAUSE of Jesus, we have the power to be TRANSFORMED! Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
If you want YOUR sins paid for and eternal life in Heaven, you can have that future in Heaven. Invite Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior into your heart. You can pray, “Jesus, come in to my heart. I proclaim you my Lord and Savior. Forgive me of my sins.”
Rejecting Jesus Christ as the one and only Savior leaves an unbeliever without any hope for salvation. Therefore, rejecting the one and only pardon is the unpardonable sin. John 3:36: “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.”
