In light of recent events in Iran, we explore the crucial question: What is God’s Providence in War and the Defense of a Nation—and what is our role as believers? Drawing from Psalm 33:10–12 and other key Scriptures, this episode lays out four Biblical truths:

  1. God Rules Over Nations and Wars – Daniel 2:21 and Proverbs 21:1 remind us that God raises up and removes leaders according to His purpose.

  2. War Can Be a Tool of Divine Judgment or Protection – Ecclesiastes 3:8 and Romans 13:3–4 teach us that governments are divinely appointed to restrain evil and protect the innocent.

  3. God’s Sovereignty Doesn’t Remove Human Responsibility – Micah 6:8 reminds us to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly—even in decisions of war.

  4. God’s People Must Pray for Leaders and Soldiers – 1 Timothy 2:1–2 calls us to intercede for those in authority so that peace and godliness may prevail.

As Christians, we must trust that no war, ruler, or outcome exists apart from the sovereign will of God. Our calling is to act with justice, pray with urgency, and rest in God’s perfect plan.

🙏 “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” – Psalm 33:12
