In this episode, Pastor John talks about the ultimate payment you will make by not accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
What happens if you say, “I don’t need any Jesus. I believe what I want to believe.” First, you’ll have to PAY for your own sins. The bill that is attached to sin is death. Romans 6:23 says “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Next, you will ONLY be able to cope, through your PAIN. Jeremiah 6:14 says, “All they ever offer to my deeply wounded people are empty hopes for peace.” “They” is “the world.” Christ went to the cross to PAY for YOUR sins – past, present, and future…so that YOU don’t have to. How cool is that?!
And BECAUSE of Jesus, we have the power to be TRANSFORMED! Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you…plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
If you feel a prompting in your heart, it may be God who is inviting you to accept His Son as your Lord and Savior. Only God can save you. Man cannot save himself. Ephesians 2:8-9 says, “For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.”
If you want your sins paid for (past, present, and future) and you want to enjoy eternal life in Heaven, invite Jesus Christ into your heart. Just pray a simple prayer like this to yourself or outloud: “Jesus, come into my heart. I proclaim you my Lord and Savior. Forgive me of my sins. I repent of my sins.” If you really meant what you prayed, and only God knows the human heart, you now have the Holy Spirit in you, to help lead you and guide you in this life as you get ready for the next life..
