Oscar Wilde once wrote, ”The only difference between the saint and the sinner…is that every saint has a past…and every sinner has a future.” End quote. Hi, it’s Pastor John Haggard at Treasure Top dot com. Anyone who’s a Christian is called a “saint” in the Bible. 1 Corinthians 1, verse 2 says, “to those sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints together with all those who in every place call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ …” The word “sanctified” comes from the same Greek root, as the word that is commonly translated…“saints.” Christians are saints, by virtue of their connection with Jesus Christ and increasingly making their daily life more closely matched with their position IN Christ. That’s why there’s no problem that “every saint has a past…and every sinner has a future.” If you’ve never accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, just pray and really mean it, “Jesus, come in to my heart. Forgive me of my sins. I proclaim you my Lord and Savior.” Learn more at TreasureTop.com.
