Complexities Today

As we navigate through the complexities of the world we live in today, it’s evident that the world faces significant social and emotional challenges, contributing to a sense of deepening malaise. Global political unrest and economic uncertainties intensify feelings of anxiety.

The digital age, while offering unprecedented connectivity, has also led to issues of social isolation, digital addiction, and a crisis of misinformation, further complicating our social fabric and emotional well-being.

The Good News

The good news is that even amidst these challenges, all Christians have a power that is greater than any world power and greater than any political regime. It’s the Holy Spirit power that enters every person who becomes a Christian. As Jesus said, “I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me, and I in him, he bears much fruit; for apart from Me you can do nothing” (John 15:5 NASB).

No Worry

We don’t have to worry. Philippians 4:6-7 (NASB) reminds us, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Part of the deepening malaise and what one can do about it are covered in this latest podcast, How to Survive Social & Emotional Bankruptcy – Part 3 in the series How to Survive Spiritual, Physical, Mental, Social, Emotional, and Financial Bankruptcy.

On this podcast, we learn about two other forms of bankruptcy, Social and Emotional. If you missed the other messages in this series, you can click here to hear them, and feel share to share this podcast or any of the messages in my podcast series.
