Title: Spiritual, Physical, Mental, Social, Emotional, and Financial Bankruptcy
Description: What causes bankruptcy in every area of life—not just financially, but spiritually, physically, and mentally?
In this episode, Pastor John continues the series by examining two critical areas: Physical and Mental Bankruptcy. If you missed the first message, How to Survive Spiritual Bankruptcy, be sure to listen to it here for essential foundational truth.
Physical & Mental Bankruptcy
In the previous message, we established that the level of spiritual bankruptcy in a person’s life is directly tied to their view of God. What you believe about God determines how you live.
One of the primary reasons we see widespread bankruptcy in every area is the rejection of God’s truth. Many live by the mindset: “It’s my life, and I’ll live it my way.” But refusing personal accountability is not freedom—it is a path to destruction. It often reveals a life that has not truly been transformed, even if there is a profession of faith.
Without genuine conversion (becoming a believer and follower of Jesus Christ), a person does not have the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit, the same power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead, to help navigate through life’s challenges.
More Reasons Why
In this message, you will discover why Physical and Mental Bankruptcy are so prevalent—and what must change to overcome them.
Do not ignore what you are about to hear. Your life—and your eternity—are at stake.
Listen to this message all the way through. Examine your life honestly. If you recognize areas of bankruptcy, do not delay—turn to God in repentance and seek His truth while there is still time. For anyone who has not accepted Christ, there is no second chance after they die.
Then, share this message with someone you care about. What you learn today could be the very thing that changes a life forever.
