Does the Bible Contradict Itself?

Bible Contradiction?

Have you ever heard anyone say, “Don’t judge lest you be judged?” In 1 Corinthians 5:12, the Apostle Paul says we are to judge those within the church. But Romans 14:13 says, we are NOT to judge one another. So which is it? Does the Bible contradict itself?

No, the Bible never contradicts itself, and we must ALWAYS put all sentences together to discern MEANING, not pick out favorite verses here and there out of context. Jesus said, “Judge not lest you be judged” (Matthew 7:1 NASB). But in the same Sermon on the Mount, he said, you better judge those false teachers because you need to discern whether they’re true or not.

YOU cannot render the FINAL judgment, but that’s very different than YOUR discerning truth from error. We are clearly to judge SIN in each other’s lives, not in the DIVINE sense, but in the DISCERNING sense.

The first instruction to the church that Jesus gave was, “If you see someone in sin, confront them. If they don’t repent, take two or three witnesses. Tell the church.” Discernment by you, YES. FINAL verdict on people’s lives, that’s for God.

How People Are Saved for Eternity in Heaven

If you are not a Christian but you are feeling a prompting in your heart, it may be God who is inviting you to accept his Son as your Lord and Savior. Accept Jesus into your heart NOW, proclaim Him your Lord and Savior, and ask forgiveness of your sins. Only God can save you. No pastor, no preacher, even you can’t save you.

No Second Chances

There are no second chances to accept Christ IF YOU DIE before you accept Him. Do it now if He is prompting you.
