We are a PRODUCT of our past, but the past DOES NOT predict the future. The BEST graduation you can go to is the graduation from your PAST. We are a PRODUCT of our past, but the past DOES NOT predict the future because we have FREE WILL to make choices, good or bad. It’s like no person or law can FORCE you to love somebody. That’s a choice only you can make, but we need a guiding force, something stronger than we are, to help us do what we CANNOT do on our own.
The power to break through
The power to break through our past comes from the Holy Spirit who enters our body when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior by saying, “Jesus, come into my life. I proclaim you my Lord and Savior. Forgive me of my sins.” When you pray that prayer, and if you really mean it, the power to make GOOD choices will come from the Holy Spirit IN you! Acts 2:38 says, “Repent…in the name of Jesus Christ…And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” You have just attended the best graduation you can go to…assurance of eternal life in Heaven.
