On this podcast, we learn about two other forms of bankruptcy, Physical and Mental. If you missed the first message in this series, How to Survive Spiritual Bankruptcy, you can click here to hear it.
Physical & Mental Bankruptcy
In the previous message, we learned that the level of spiritual bankruptcy in one’s life is directly proportionate to his or her view of God. Because one’s view of God will determine how one lives their life.
One of the main reasons we see bankruptcy of all kinds is the unwillingness of people to accept the truth of the word of God. The attitude is, “It’s my life, and I’ll live it the way I want to.” When there is the unwillingness to be held personally accountable for one’s actions in life, this is a sign that someone is not truly converted as a Christian, even though they may think they are. Such rebellion leads to self-destruction. Non-believers do not have the Holy Spirit power in them, which is the same power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead.
